How to access Talk by Text and BT Relay using myFriend

There are different arrangements from myFriend for contacting TalkbyText (TBT) users and for calling standard textphones or reaching the text relay services

  • TalkByText - myFriend users can dial TBT six digit numbers directly and will be connected
  • BT TextRelay - You can also make calls via BT TextRelay to voice phones by prefixing the number with 18001
  • Minicoms/Textphones - You can make calls to minicoms/textphones directly to another Deaf or hard of hearing person by prefixing the nuber with 180015
